CHICAGO (WLS) — A unfastened pet parrot was rescued in Chicago’s Loop Sunday.

A hearth crew that was coming back from an EMS run earlier within the day in downtown was flagged down to help with getting a pet hen down from a window ledge at East Michigan Avenue and East Jackson Drive, based on Chicago hearth officers.

The citizen requested for a ladder, however as a substitute, a crew member used a pole to assist get the hen down.

The rescue was caught on video.

“Simply whenever you assume you’ve got seen all of it in #Chicago,” the one who took the video posted on social media.

A crowd that gathered round cheered when the hen was lastly lowered down from the ledge.
